Host Group Real Estate has partnered with the Association of Mortgage Educators (NMLS Provider ID:1400214) SAFE MLO Pre-licensing (20 HOUR) The NMLS-approved instructor-led Pre-licensing course provides all of the tools to help you successfully complete your online MLO Pre-licensing education. The course is flexible and convenient, allowing you to move easily through the lessons, activities, and practice exams. You'll also have easy access to your instructor and other students through discussion forums and other activities. The Pre-licensing course has a specific start and end dates-and your instructor will help make sure you keep on track to complete your course. Keep in mind that there are no "scheduled" activities so you can participate when it's convenient for you. The course allows you to print off downloadable versions of reading assignments for offline reading and reference. And, all of your NMLS Banking fees are included!
Note: the online course does not includes the 3 hour MA component it must be completed elsewhere.

This course covers topics required by the SAFE Act: Federal lending legislation (3 hrs), ethics (3 hrs), and nontraditional mortgage products (2 hrs). Also included are nine hours of elective topics to provide a broad understanding of key concepts: A primer on the primary and secondary mortgage markets, a review of the economic, legal, and valuation aspects of the real estate market, types of loan products and finance instruments, and the fundamentals of the residential mortgage lending process.
